The Group Rate
Costs below include the systems AND installation.
The ONE System (whole house filtration installed in the basement)
The ONE system without the group discount is $1895 for a normal install. More details, https://www.watercare.com/products/specialty-solutions/one-filtration.html and view how it takes out PFOAS/PFOS here, https://ibb.co/n303q0H
This is one of the few systems certified by the industry when it comes to removing PFOA/PFOS (see chat below or in the link above).
The one filter is designed for maximum flow rate of 8gpm . If a house has more then 4 bathrooms it’s recommended to install a dual system, plumbed in parallel to give double the flow rates. Which is double the cost. They get 2 one filters.
$100 off The One System for the Group Rate!
So $1895-$100 = $1795

REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM (installed under your kitchen sink)
The industry is behind so you won't find a certified RO system that states what % of PFOS and PFAS are taken out. Do know that the RO Passaic Bergen will install is a HIGH END system. Google around on Carbon Block Filters and Membrane Filters to learn about the technology. It takes years for a system to be certified and right now, the industry is not certifying RO systems for PFOS/PFAS.
I (Laura) suggest you ask about remineralization if getting the RO system. More details, https://www.watercare.com/products/drinking-water/clearflo.html
$200 off RO for the Group Rate!
So $995-$225 = $770
-----
RC Elite Softener (installed in your basement)
The softener system would add the reduction of hardness minerals, like calcium, to prevent scale build up in your plumbing, on your fixtures, and inside your appliances. It will also take out contaminates but like the RO it is not certified when it comes to PFOS/PFAS.
$150 off the Softener for the Group Rate!
So $2695-$150 = $2545

*no other discounts can be applied.

FAQ by Laura Occhipinti
I keep seeing the same questions again and again about these systems so I thought I would attempt my own FAQ. Please note I did the best I could to answer these questions. We have both of these systems in our home and I would be happy to have anyone over for a taste of water. We did do the remineralization with the RO so you can see if you like how it tastes. Email me at [email protected]
Q: Where does a Reverse Osmosis system go?
A: The RO system goes in your kitchen, under your sink. It will feed into a separate tap that Passaic Bergen will install at your sink. In most houses the main line for the fridge is underneath the kitchen sink so there would be no additional charge to add RO water to the fridge. In some houses, unfortunately PB can’t even get to the fridge water line because it’s not underneath the sink and there is no access to the water line due to a finished basement with no drop ceiling. There are also times PB will be able to get to the water line but with drilling down into the basement and drilling a hole behind fridge floor to tie in. This is an additional cost. It can be up to $100.00 additional. RO water is for drinking and cooking.
Q: Where does the whole house filter and softener system go?
A: In your basement.
Q: What is the annual cost to change filters and membranes?
A: Please ask during your free consultation. This is a great question to have written down.
Q: I read that Reverse Osmosis takes out all the minerals out of the water.
A: This is true, but when you are meeting with PB ask about ADDING remineralization to your water system. Some people like the taste that remineralization provides and some people do not. We (happily) did the remineralization with the RO so email me at [email protected] if you want to come over for a taste. The Alkaline remineralization filter extra money.
Q: Will the whole house filter and water softener system help my skin?
A: I can't say for sure but I do know that MANY residents have told me that their eczema has gotten better and their skin is better. Personally, I had a dry patch of skin on my hands that was perpetually there. Within weeks of getting the system the patch was gone and did not return.

Pricing Transparency
- We, at Glen Rock Group Rate, always ask the service providers/vendors to provide us with a discount that is ABOVE AND BEYOND any of their current offers. If you happen to see another offer (either online, in a newspaper, in a coupon book, etc) please let us know.
- We understand that when an estimate is required, that a service provider/vendor may "pad" that estimate so you are not getting the real % off that we are claiming. Please note that we talk about this concern with EVERY company and we do not move forward with a group rate unless that company assures us they will not submit false estimates. As a customer it is your right to get multiple estimates from a variety of service provider/vendors and we recommend you do so.
